Châteaumeillant (Auvergnat: Chastèlmelhan) is a commune in the Cher department in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France.

Geography

An area of winegrowing, farming and forestry comprising a small town and several hamlets situated in the valley of the small river Sinaise, some 40 miles (64 km) south of Bourges at the junction of the D943 with the D3 and the D70 roads.

gollark: 1.5% of the entire economy's output on charitable causes - including local ones - in the most charity-donating country out of all of them - isn't very high in absolute terms, though.

gollark: Well, a better metric might be median % of income donated or something, but I don't know where to get that.
