Rural Municipality of Glen Bain No. 105

The Rural Municipality of Glen Bain No. 105 (2016 population: 180) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 3 and SARM Division No. 3. It is located in the south-central portion of the province.

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Glen Bain No. 105 recorded a population of 180 living in 77 of its 107 total private dwellings, a -12.2% change from its 2011 population of 205. With a land area of 843.4 km2 (325.6 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Glen Bain No. 105 recorded a population of 205, a -11.6% change from its 2006 population of 232. With a land area of 843.4 km2 (325.6 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government

The RM of Glen Bain No. 105 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Tuesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Ted Wornath while its administrator is Audrey Rotheisler.[3] The RM's office is located in Glen Bain.[3]
