In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Arborfield No. 456 recorded a population of 343 living in 144 of its 165 total private dwellings, a -24.3% change from its 2011 population of 453. With a land area of 1,416.01 km2 (546.72 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Arborfield No. 456 recorded a population of 453, a 5.6% change from its 2006 population of 429. With a land area of 1,416.01 km2 (546.72 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.3/km2 (0.8/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government

The RM of Arborfield No. 456 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Donald Underhill while its administrator is Pierrette Woynarski.[3] The RM's office is located in Arborfield.[3]
