Incumbent Democratic Senator Cory Booker is running for a second full term. Booker previously was a candidate in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries. New Jersey election law allowed him to run for both the U.S. Senate and U.S. President simultaneously, but he suspended his presidential campaign on January 13, 2020 and confirmed his intention for reelection to his Senate seat.[1][2]
The Republican candidate is Rik Mehta.[3]
