Geography

The commune is situated 17 miles (27 km) north of Amiens, on the D1 road. The village is set right on the border between the departments of the Somme and Pas-de-Calais, which creates two communes with the same name, with a postal code of 62 (Pas-de-Calais) and both the arrondissement and canton in Pas-de-Calais.

The nineteenth-century church was built in the territory of the Pas-de-Calais.

Thièvres also stands at the confluence of the rivers Authie and Kilienne.

gollark: Arch is rolling release, and I think any breaking of the package manager would also likely mess up everything else *anyway*.
gollark: The AUR (btw I use arch) contains a *lot* of stuff, and if it doesn't I can sometimes wrangle a program into compiling from source from their github or whatever.
gollark: It's *automated* building from source, it's not that bad.
gollark: You can just `pacman -S whatever`, assuming it's available, or if it isn't I have the AUR.
