Prestonpans railway station

Prestonpans railway station is a railway station serving the town of Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland. It is located on the North Berwick Line, 9.75 miles (15.69 km) east of Edinburgh Waverley. It serves the town of Cockenzie and Port Seton, 1.37 miles (2.20 km) away.

Services

On Monday to Friday daytimes there is an hourly service westbound to Edinburgh and eastbound to North Berwick, with extra trains at peak periods; a limited number of trains run to and from Glasgow Central via Carstairs. On Saturdays, a half-hourly service operates during the day, dropping to hourly in the evening. Trains also call hourly each way on Sundays from mid-morning.[1]
