Line 8 (Shenzhen Metro)

Line 8 of the Shenzhen Metro (also known as the Yantian line) is currently under construction. Line 8 has a length of 12.367 km (7.7 mi) and a total of 7 stations.[2] It connects Liantang station in Luohu District with Yantian Road station in Yantian District. Line 8 is the first line to serve Yantian District.

Construction of Phase 1 started in December 2015, with the line scheduled to open in October 2020.[3][4] Line 8 is planned to connect with Line 2, with trains on Line 2 terminating at Liantang station.
