Cure_Shabon's OCs
Bia Hoshigo (Cure Heron)
"Flying in the Sky of Freedom, Cure Heron!"
Perfume Preppy / Cure_Shabon's personal Author Avatar. Recently went under a makeover after a long time of inactivity.
- Cool Sword (Old Heron's Heron Blade)
- Feather Motif
- Girlish Pigtails (New Heron)
- The Gunslinger (New Heron and her gun, the Heron Magnum.)
- Hair Decorations (Wings with both version, a hairband with Old Heron and a tiara with New Heron.)
- Multicolored Hair (New Heron's hair is black fading into cyan.)
- Tights With a Skirt (New Heron)
- Transformation Trinket (An unnamed heart-shaped diamond pendant for Old Heron, and the Plume Buckler (a belt) for New Heron.)
Reiher/Raito Kinodori
Bia/Cure Heron's Mentor Mascot.
- Ascended Extra (His design is inspired by a Littlest Pet Shop plush bird.)
- Blue Eyes
- Humanity Ensues
- Polly Wants a Microphone
- "Stop Having Fun!" Guys
- Voluntary Shapeshifting
- You Gotta Have Green Hair (as Raito)
Nana Taniji (Cure Enciel)
Voiced by: Rika Wakusawa
"The Glittering Rainbow Prism, Cure Enciel!"
OC for Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star, created after the realization that the season doesn't have a pigtailed blonde Cure.
- Everything's Better with Rainbows (Her powers)
- Gamer Chick
- Genius Ditz (She appears to be naïve and dumb but has surprisingly high grades.)
- Genki Girl
- Girlish Pigtails (In Cure form)
- Gratuitous French (Her Cure name comes from "l'arc en ciel", the French word for "rainbow".)
- Hair of Gold (It only gets brighter as Cure Enciel.)
- Hilarious in Hindsight (Invoked; at one point she has an idea for a Pretty Cure arcade game which is sheepishly dismissed by Saki and Mai for being "too girly". Then, cue the Dream Live games.)
- Idol Singer (strives to be this)
- Plucky Girl
Tomiji Hagiwara (Cure Mocha)
Voiced by: Umi Teijin
"The Steamy Brown Kindness, Cure Mocha!"
OC for Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and its sequel, created after Cure_Shabon grew tired of the Fan-Preferred Couple of Coco/Nozomi.
- All Love Is Unrequited (towards Nozomi)
- Apologizes a Lot (In particular during his first encounter with Nozomi.)
- Blind Without'Em
- Claustrophobia
- Cute Bookworm (Sometimes doubling as Badass Bookworm.)
- Dogged Nice Guy
- Gendered Outfit
- The Glasses Come Off (He removes them manually every time he transforms into Cure Mocha.)
- Hey, It's That Voice! (Is that you, Izzy?)
- The Klutz
- Master of Illusion (Not really, but his attacks involve steam and mist, so it's close enough.)
- The One Guy (If you count the mascots out.)
- Relationship Sue (Averted; although he's clearly interested in Nozomi, she still has eyes only for Coco.)
- Shrinking Violet
- Sixth Ranger (If he was canon he would become a Cure in episode 24 of the first season, thus making Milky Rose the Bangai Heroine.)
Heiwa Ginsaru (Cure Sapote)
Voiced by: Kana Ueda
"The Silver Heart Stands for Fresh Returned Peace! Cure Sapote!"
OC for Fresh Pretty Cure.
- Aloof Ally
- Expy (She is pretty much the Pretty Cure version of Antauri. Apparently she was Bia's first genuine Pretty Cure OC, created when Bia was deep in a Monkey Team hype.)
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple (If her gloves are any indication...)
- Green Eyes → Blue Eyes
- Homeschooled Kids
- Make Me Wanna Shout (Pretty Cure Mind Scream)
- Miko
- Raven Hair, Ivory Skin
- Silver Haired Pretty Girl (as Cure Sapote)
- Tall, Dark and Bishoujo
- Tsundere
- Wolverine Claws (Her Cure Stick, if you can call it a stick, is supposed to be one as a glove.)
- Zettai Ryouiki
Misora Hachimitsu (Cure Honey)
Voiced by: Ayana Taketatsu
"One Flower Soaring in the Sweet Sky! Cure Honey!"
One of the two OCs created for Heartcatch Pretty Cure.

Azuki Kitasawa (Cure Chartreuse)
Voiced by: Mitsuo Iwata
"One Flower Sprouting from the Grass! Cure Chartreuse!"
One of the two OCs created for Heartcatch Pretty Cure.
- Badass Longcoat (In Super Silhouette form.)
- Bare Your Midriff
- BST (with Erika)
- Embarrassing First Name (He claims his name is girly and doesn't quite fit in with his masculine nature.)
- Expy (He is partially inspired by Disney's version of Peter Pan.)
- Gendered Outfit
- Green Thumb
- Tall, Dark and Snarky
- The One Guy (And he doesn't like it one bit.)
- You Gotta Have Green Hair
Tei Nakahara (Cure Rhapsody)
Voiced by: Saeko Chiba
"Strumming the Tempered Tune! Cure Rhapsody!"
OC for Suite Pretty Cure.
- Caffeine Bullet Time (Give her anything with sugar [1] and she becomes a hyperactive Squee machine. She only turns back if splashed with water.)
- Cultural Rebel (She comes from a traditionally Japanese family but has a passion for the Western culture. Of course, she wasn't always considered this; see Dead Little Sister as to why.)
- Dark Is Not Evil
- Dead Little Sister (Inverted; her older sister, Hiki, died of drug overdose at the age of 27, which is the reason for why her family disapproves the Western culture so much.)
- Deadpan Snarker (At times)
- Drugs Are Bad (See Dead Little Sister for the reason.)
- Nice Hat (A black Trilby as Cure Rhapsody, probably due to her being a big Michael Jackson fan.)
- Purple Eyes
- Raven Hair, Ivory Skin
- Yamato Nadeshiko (She's training to become one.)
- You Gotta Have Gray Hair (As Cure Rhapsody)
Cyclone Muse
Voiced by: Masaki Suda
"Strumming the Windy Memories! Cyclone Muse!"
A version of Philip from an Alternate Universe where he leaves Fuuto after restored to physical form and turns out to be Cure Muse's real identity instead of Ako. The full story can be found here. In addition to Philip and (masked) Cure Muse's original tropes, the following are also added:
- Badass Longcoat
- Big Brother Instinct (Towards Ako; in fact, it's what leads him to get a Cure Module in first place.)
- Dropped a Bridget On Him
- Gendered Outfit
- Gratuitous German (During Shining Cyclone Extreme: "Eins, zwei, drei! Finale!")
- The One Guy
- We Named the Monkey "Jack" (Type 1 example, not an animal, but close enough: Philip nicknames Dodori "Shori" as a way of getting over being away from Shotaro.)
Houji Kurenai
Voiced by: Hiro Shimono
OC for Smile Pretty Cure.
- Apologizes a Lot (He doesn't like lying, therefore his articles are as honest as they can be. So whenever he writes an article about something that may upset someone, he tops it with several repetitions of "I'm sorry" which sometimes take up the entire column.)
- Ascended Fanboy (He is this for the Mahou Shoujo genre in general. This comes with a heavy dose of Genre Savvy as well as constant squeeing.)
- Big Brother Instinct (Starts to develop this after the birth of his baby twin siblings.)
- Braces of Orthodontic Overkill (Subverted; his braces are the regular kind, and like Hay Lin from WITCH he even gets to customize them.)
- The Glomp (often does this to Yayoi)
- Keet
- Knowledge Broker
- Lovable Coward
- Muggle Best Friend
- The One Guy (The only male among six girls, Mentor Mascot included. Of course, this may change by the time episode 6 rolls around.)
- Raven Hair, Ivory Skin (Rare male version)
- Red-Violet Eyes
- Secret Keeper
- School Newspaper Newshound (Mainly for the gossip column.)
- Why Did It Have to Be Spiders?
Kaede Mamiya (Cure Triumph)
Voiced by: Chika Fujito
"Precious Quaking Golden Earth, Cure Triumph!"
OC for Smile Pretty Cure.
- Beauty Mark
- Dishing Out Dirt
- Eyes of Gold
- Fluffy Fashion Feathers
- Foreign Language Tirade (She is prone to ranting in French whenever annoyed.)
- Girlish Pigtails (Combined with Braids of Action in Cure form.)
- Heavy Sleeper (At least according to Furuhara-chan, who claims that Kaede once went to school without realizing her Sleep Mask was still on.)
- Likes Older Women (Gender flipped; she has a thing for older men.)
- Ojou
- Rich Bitch → Lovable Alpha Bitch
- Rich in Yen, Poor in Sense
- Sixth Ranger
- Trademark Favorite Food (Gooseberry pie. Bonus points if it's made by Furuhara-chan.)
- Tsundere (In particular towards Houji.)
- Well, Excuse Me, Princess!
Shiori Fujita (Cure Amity)
Voiced by: Juri Takita
OC for Smile Pretty Cure. Still a work-in-progress.
- Blind Without'Em (Justified; she's near-sighted, a consequence of being an albino.)
- Casting a Shadow (Ironically enough.)
- Crazy Prepared (Tends to carry a bottle of sunscreen wherever she goes.)
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple
- Heroic Albino
- Meganekko (See Blind Without'Em.)
- Purple Eyes (Again justified due to her condition; albinos tend to have red or purple eyes on occasion.)
- Purple Is the New Black (Only possible explanation for the purple accents on her black outfit.)
- Woman in Black
Furuhara-chan
Voiced by: ???
OC for Smile Pretty Cure.
- Feminine Women Can Cook
- Meido (She's the most prominent member of the Mamiyas' servants.)
- Pet Homosexual (Arguably. She occasionally shows hints of being Ambiguously Gay.)
- Yes Woman (to Kaede)
Amaya Kumo (Cure Spinne)
Voiced by: Yuu Shimamura
"I am Cure Spinne! Get Tangled in the Spiderweb!"
- Expy (She's a Pretty Cure version of none other than Spider-Man.)
- I Thought It Meant (Villains encountering her expect her to spin at a certain point because of her name, not knowing it's German for "spider".)
- Magical Girl (She's one of the few Pretty Cure fancharacters who isn't this. Her powers are purely in her DNA, and she has to put on her costume manually.)
- Redheaded Hero (Subverted because it's actually a wig.)
- Tareme Eyes
Hibari Esumi (Cure Velocity)
Voiced by: ???
A currently-unaffiliated OC, who is also the daughter of Sosuke Esumi and Miu Suto. Best friends with Kaori Kurenai (see "Kalle's OCs" below), and has Engine Machalcon (or at least a slightly modified version of him) as her Engine partner and, to a certain extent, Pretty Cure "mascot".
- Auto Erotica (Word of God claims that she was concieved on the backseat of Sosuke's car.)
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass
- Dual-Wielding
- Fiery Auburnhead
- Fragile Speedster
- Girlish Pigtails (Even though she isn't exactly girly. Her hair is really short and really messy so they come out as two puffballs instead.)
- Gratuitous Foreign Language (Often peppers her speech with Spanish and Italian words, no thanks to "Uncle Hant".)
- Hair-Trigger Temper
- Hot-Blooded
- Quirky Household (Even if the Go-ongers other than her parents and Hiroto weren't related, Hibari treats them as if they were -- going as far as calling Renn her "grandmother" -- and loves them with all her heart.)
- Rollerblade Good
- Sai Nut (Her weapons, the Street Sais.)
- Shorttank (Big time.)
- Small Name, Big Ego
- Something Else Also Rises (As an occasional Character Tic, her Girlish Pigtails audibly "puff out" whenever she's aroused.)
- Tomboy to Kaori's Girly Girl
- Zettai Ryouiki (Type A in both forms.)
Cure Destiny
Voiced by: ???
The spirit of the Pretty Cure leaders, who makes her first appearance in Waltz of a Suite Life.
- Big Good
- Frills of Justice
- Heroic Sacrifice (In Pretty Cure Drive Dynasty, she goes through one that triggers the whole plot.)
- Not So Above It All (She's the little sister of AkaRed, of all people (beings?), and they don't really get along.)
"Just because you're my older brother it doesn't mean you can be better than me at everything."
Pretty Konjiki's OCs
Lisa Jackson/Cure Apple
Anika Miyoko/Cure Lace/Cure Starshine

Midoriri's OCs
Akimi Kodachi (Cure Pear)
Voiced by: Chieko Higuchi
"One Flower That Fills the Soul, Cure Pear!"
OC for Heartcatch Pretty Cure
- Curtains Match the Window: In both forms
- Every Girl Is Cuter With Hair Decs: Bobbles in civilian forms, little bows in Cure form
- Expy: Her civilian looks are reminiscent of Sakura Kinomoto, but with green hair and glasses.
- Girlish Pigtails: In both forms, but definitely more noticeable in Cure form
- Meaningful Name: Her first name, "Akimi" means "autumn fruit," and her surname can mean "grove."
- Meganekko
- Middle Child Syndrome: She does have it, but it's an odd case as she's the youngest in her family.
- Rapunzel Hair: in Cure form
- You Gotta Have Green Hair
Wakako Yasuhisa (Cure Ballad)
Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa
"Strumming the Sentimental Tune, Cure Ballad!"
OC for Suite Pretty Cure created after midoriri theorized that Ako/Cure Muse was from the past. When it proved false, she liked the theory so much she used it for an OC.
- Actual Pacifist: When first introduced, she attempts to hug and talk calmly to Negatones rather than fight them, thinking only that will work...
- Technical Pacifist:...but she eventually becomes this, after being taught that sometimes a fight is necessary. (Actually, it takes a Negatone hurting her adopted-grandmother to teach her this)
- Fish Out of Temporal Water: She's originally from the 1950's; modern Japan confuses her a bit.
- Adopted By Surrogate Grandma
- Hey, It's That Voice!: Kobato., is that you?
- I Choose to Stay: After trying to figure out a Time Paradox, she decides the "right choice" is stay in the future/present.
- Meaningful Name: "Wakako" meaning "child of harmonious song," and "Yasuhisa" meaning "long-lasting"--fitting, considering she traveled through time.
- Princess Curls: in Cure form
- The Ditz
- Too Dumb to Live: How the canon Cures see her
- You Gotta Have Purple Hair
Bianca Neri (Cure Incantare)
Voiced by: Yumi Kakazu
"Fumo Fumo Poof, Enchanting Fumes! Cure Incantare!"
OC for Smile Pretty Cure. Midoriri's first OC who starts as a Heel.
- Gratuitous Foreign Language: In her Cure introduction: "fumo" is Italian, not Japanese. [2]
- Heel Face Turn
- I Just Want to Have Friends
- Kuudere Type 2
- New Transfer Student: from Italy
- Raven Hair, Ivory Skin
- Smoke Out

Kalle's OCs
Kaori Kurenai (Cure Fangoria)
Voiced by: Fuyuka Ooura
"The dawn sleeps and whispers my name -- Cure Fangoria!"
A currently-unaffiliated OC, who is also the daughter of Wataru Kurenai and Saki Rouyama.
- Bare-Fisted Monk / She Fu: When not relying on dark magic attacks. Being skilled in gymnastics helps.
- Brown Eyes → Red Eyes, Take Warning
- Casting a Shadow
- Chained by Fashion: As Fangoria -- like her father, though to a lesser extent.
- Dark Is Not Evil
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: Her hair is a very dark auburn rather than black (although she does get a Shiny Midnight Black Horned Hairdo when she transforms) but in either civilian or Cure form, she qualifies. She's really nothing but nice, though.
- Feminine Women Can Cook: to make up for her mom's Lethal Chef traits.
- Finishing Move: Pretty Cure Empress Moonbreaker (by herself), Pretty Cure Speed Queen Shooter (with Cure Velocity)
- Girly Girl to Hibari's Tomboy
- Give Her a Normal Life: Well, Wataru certainly wanted this for his daughter, but the Powers That Be said otherwise. Saki, meanwhile, is thrilled that Kaori is following in their footsteps.
- The Nose Knows: Kaori loves perfume, and wants to become a perfumer someday... unfortunately for her, her father's odd violin varnish ingredients tend to disagree with her sense of smell a lot. In fact, the one time she truly got angry at Wataru was when she discovered he used a carrion flower in one particular batch.
- Spin Offspring
- Yamato Nadeshiko: Debatable, as she does have a few oddities about her despite fulfilling some of the usual criteria. She does, however, have the necessary 'touch of iron'.
- Yaoi Fangirl: While she keeps it a secret, she certainly has a thing for it -- right down to knowing the different types of semes and ukes.
Barnabas
Voiced by: Kunihiro Kawamoto
Kaori / Cure Fangoria's fairy partner, who came from the future to help her fight against the Neo-Fangires. His species is actually a future divergence from the Kivat race.
- Bat Out of Hell: Subverted -- while he almost looks the part, he's no more threatening than his bretheren in the end.
- Deadpan Snarker: Name something, anything, and he will have some kind of smartassed remark about it.
- Fastball Special: Fangoria uses him in her Barnabas Bullet attack, similar to her mother and Engine BearRV's Bullet Crash.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite the fact that he likes to gripe about anything and everything, and that he and Kivat-bat III are on less-than-friendly terms (the former even going so far as to outright insult the latter at times) he cares very much for Kaori's safety and wants to be rid of the Neo-Fangires as much as she does.
- Shout-Out: Now, where have we heard the name Barnabas before...?
Ryanasaurus0077's OCs
Goichi Kugimiya (Cure Symphony)
Voiced by: Masako Katsuki
- Berserk Button/Beware the Nice Ones: Do NOT threaten his sister.
- Curtains Match the Window: As Cure Symphony.
- Dance Battler
- Dragged Into Drag
- Dropped A Bridget On Her: Does this to all three of the main Cures after Trio the Minor's Batman Gambit to break Ellen's trust in Hibiki and Kanade.
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple: A male example.
- Groin Attack: How Ellen finds out he's a boy.
Ellen: WHOA! AGH!
[As Ellen falls, she accidentally grabs Goichi's, um, southern region, and he yelps]
Ellen: Is that what I think it is under your skirt? Arienai!
Goichi: Yes, it is, I'm sorry to say.
Ellen: [after catching her breath] Care to explain yourself?
- Leotard of Power
- Magic Skirt
- Real Men Wear Pink
- Tights With a Skirt: Part of his school uniform and Halloween festival costume.
- Wholesome Crossdresser
