Quintinius Verginix's bed-chamber

Quintinius Verginix's bedroom was a small room in the East Turret of the Palace of Shadows.

History

Before 15 ᴇ.ʏ.

Prior to -59 ᴇ.ʏ., the chamber may have been used as a bedroom or storeroom, but following the death of the last earth-scholar Most High Academe in -59 ᴇ.ʏ., it was left unused for around 75 years.

Quintinius' residence

In 15 ᴇ.ʏ., Quintinius Verginix moved into the room. He not only slept there, but also completed work set by his teacher, Professor Wordspool.

Quint only spent nine nights in the room, and it was destroyed by fire twelve days after he moved in, when the Palace of Shadows burnt down.

Layout

The room was located in the East Turret[1] of the Palace of Shadows. It was accessible via a narrow staircase from the balcony-chamber.[2] It was one of several rooms in the tower.

The room was tiny, with only one small, shuttered window and no carpet on the floor[2]. Inside, there was a bed, a desk[3]and chair[2], as well as a wash-bowl[4].
