Master-study
The master-study was the personal office of the Most High Academe. It was most notably used by Linius Pallitax between 1 and 15 ᴇ.ʏ..
History
The study was constructed in the early First Age of Flight, and was used by Most High Academes until -59 ᴇ.ʏ.. It went unused until 1 ᴇ.ʏ., when Linius Pallitax moved into the palace and used it as his office.
During his earlier years as Most High Academe, he spent time here performing many of the academic functions of his role. However, towards the end of his administration, he spent almost no time in the study, as he instead spent almost all his time in the Great Library and Ancient Laboratory.
In 15 ᴇ.ʏ., the study was destroyed by fire when the Palace of Shadows burnt down.
Layout
The master-study was located on the fourth floor of the palace. It was a square room with were several windows[1], however they were probably on the east or west side of the building and didn't let in much light. It was smoky inside[2], so lighting was likely provided by a fire. Against one wall was a small desk and stool, but it is likely there was a larger desk elsewhere in the room as well.
