Hyrule (Hyrule Supplement)/Eldin Province

Geographically the largest province of Hyrule, Eldin dominates the northeastern quadrant of the continent. It is overlooked by the fearsome volcano known as Death Mountain; it and the surrounding mountains are constantly aflow with lava, and so superheated that creatures not adapted to this extreme heat have a difficult time handling it. Much of the province features a dry, warm climate despite being so far north. Eldin is the home of most Hyrulean gorons and mogma.

Death Mountain Range

The Death Mountain Range is a region of Hyrule, a vast mountainous area in the far north. A belt of volcanic mountains rich in metals, minerals and Rupee Ore, countless wars have been fought for dominion over these bountiful lands.

Mountain Town of Darunia

Situated near the center of Eldin and the base of Death Mountain Range, this peaceful and modest town is a mix of hylians, gorons, and mogma. It helps to serve as a trading post and halfway point between the inhospitable but populous Goron City and the rest of Hyrule. Like many Hyrulean towns, it is named after an ancient sage, believed by some to be among the original Seven Sages.

gollark: Just have more storage?
gollark: Hmm. I don't know how to Minoteaur the Minoteaurs.
gollark: Oh, right, the actual video: this is an amateur potatOS security researcher revealing a bug they found.
gollark: So the general and robust fix for this would be to stop doing I/O this way for anything but performance-sensitive and fairly robust (terminal, FS) I/O and API stuff, but PotatOS has so much legacy code that that would actually be very hard.
gollark: As it turns out, you can take a perfectly safe function with out of sandbox access and make it very not safe by controlling what responses it gets from HTTP requests and whatever.
