• Fan Nickname: "Radical" Robin (for his very familiar hacking style).
  • "Batdad," or "Daddybats" for Batman's surprising aptitude for being a good parental figure.
  • "Kid Fate," for Kid Flash wearing the Helmet of Fate.
    • "Fate Lad" and "Fatanna" for when Aqualad and Zatanna do the same.
  • "Rolly" for the sphere that Superboy brought back from Bialya in "Bereft"
  • "Rageboy" and "Emoboy" for Superboy's early anger management issues and his angsting about Superman ignoring him. But these are markedly toned down as the show progresses.
  • "Angroy" for Red Arrow's anger at the whole sidekick thing.
  • "Aquabad" or "Mantalad" for Aqualad after his Face Heel Turn.
    • There's also Manta II and Manta Jr.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: Something Brandon Vietti put together and put on his blog to illustrate this.
  • Marina Sirtis of Gargoyles and Star Trek: The Next Generation fame has been confirmed as the voice of villainess Queen Bee.
  • Phil LaMarr is Aquaman.
    • And could give Aqualad a run for his money as a young, black, electrically-charged hero in his role as Static (who may actually appear in this series, if clips of future episodes are shown to be true).
    • He also sounds very similar to Kit Fisto, another underwater fighter he's voiced.
  • Jesse McCartney is Robin. This is the second time Robin has shared a voice with a JRPG protagonist.
  • Aqualad is voiced by Cyborg. It's also not the First Time that Khary Payton voiced a Darkskinned Blonde.
  • Bruce Greenwood (Captain Pike) is Batman, again.
  • Nolan North is Superboy and Superman, Cyborg is Aqualad, and Bartz Klauser is Kid Flash.
    • Aw crap, you just gave Vulpes Inculta Super Speed, didn't you?
    • Desmond Miles and Nathan Drake wish they were the Man of Steel.
    • He's also Madara Uchiha. Hmm... Madara vs. Superman might be an interesting fight.
    • And moreover, this isn't the first time that Jason Spisak has voiced a teenage genius. Though Kid Flash is a lot nicer than Kiyo, most of the time...
  • Green Arrow is Wash.
  • George Eads plays another police forensic scientist.
  • The minor villain Icicle Jr. is teenaged Ben Tennyson!
    • This isn't his first time playing a teenager with ice powers, either...
  • Red Arrow and Guardian (his uncle) are voiced by Crispin Freeman, who also did work for Hellsing as well as voicing Jeremiah of Code Geass fame, if anyone dares to mess with Young Justice, they will have to face Red Arrow's storm of loyalty!
    • Red Arrow also turns out to be The Mole for an evil organization. Who later turns out to be a Reverse Mole. This is the second time he's been in that situation.
  • Danny Trejo is Bane.
  • The Big Bad of the pilot movie sounded a whole lot like a certain shape-shifting security guard and Legacy of Kain character, Janos.
  • Jeff Bennett is Red Tornado and T.O. Morrow.
  • Q is Mister Twister!
  • Professor Ivo is Chronos. Dr. Langstrom(Manbat), and Doc Ock. Aside from that, his resume also includes being a Lawyer, an assistant to Dracula, and the Mad Hatter.
  • Kent Nelson is Ed Asner while Nabu, John Stewart and Martian Manhunter are Kevin Michael Richardson.
    • This isn't Kevin's first time voicing one of Hal's comrades, either.
  • Klarion the Witch Boy shares a voice actor with Lexington and the Tinkerer.
  • Miss Martian is Winnie Cooper!
  • Lord Kobra is voiced by Imhotep.
  • Black Canary also goes by Mary Jane Watson in The Spectacular Spider-Man and Black Widow in Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes.
  • L-2/Ra's al Ghul, is Oded Fehr, who voiced Dr. Fate in the original Justice League cartoon, and played Ardeth Bay in The Mummy Trilogy, while his Dragon, Sensei, is voiced by Keone Young,
  • Mark Rolston (Firefly) is Lex Luthor.
  • Tara Strong is Dr. Roquette.
  • Yuri Lowenthal is Garth, Icicle Jr, and Lagoon Boy.
  • Topo is Tidus/Ratchet/Johnny Test/Leonardo/Obi-Wan Kenobi/Plo Koon/Green Arrow.
  • Dr. Desmond is The Mechanist.
  • Kelly Hu is Cheshire.
  • Kate Reed is Killer Frost.

  • Steve Blum reprises his role from the DC Showcase: Green Arrow short as Count Vertigo.
  • Lacey Chabert (Gwen Stacy) is Zatanna.
  • Nathan Petrelli is Hugo Strange, and Cheetah is Amanda Waller.
  • Harm is voiced by Benjamin Diskin, who provided the voice for Venom/Eddie Brock in The Spectacular Spider-Man.
  • Roxas and Xion are Robin and Batgirl.
  • Greg Weisman himself is Snapper Carr.
  • Dee Bradley Baker is Wolf, Blockbuster (a role he reprises from Justice League, albeit simply grunting and uncredited), and Dessad.
  • Miguel Ferrer (Aquaman, Weather Wizard, Sinestro, Shan Yu, Silvermane, and Martian Manhunter) is Vandal Savage.
  • Alex Dunphy is the Queen of Vlatava now?
    • As before.
  • Maggie Q is Wonder Woman.
  • Josh Keaton makes a return to web slinging as the villainous Black Spider.
  • Agent Faraday is voiced by Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor, Mr. Freeze, and Captain Stacy).
  • Cree Summer is Tula (what makes this even more obvious is that the fact that Cree once voiced another Atlantean before).
  • Adam Baldwin is Parasite.
  • Rocket is voiced by Kali Bianca Troy (aka "Kittie"), who voiced Trixie in American Dragon: Jake Long and Taranee Cook in W.I.T.C.H.
  • Tony Todd voices Rocket's mentor, Icon.
  • Mae Whitman is Cassie Sandsmark (Wonder Girl).
  • Tim Curry is G. Gordon Godfrey.
  • Blackheart is Lobo.
  • Blue Beetle is Molten Man.
  • Captain Atom is Etrigan and Dormammu.

• I Knew It!: Artemis being the comic book villain Artemis Crock.
  • Six of the seven leaders of the Light being Vandal Savage, Lex Luthor, Ra's al Ghul, Queen Bee, Ocean Master, and the Brain. What no one expected was Klarion being the seventh one.
  • Cheshire being Artemis's older sister.
  • Sphere being the Super-Cycle.
  • Megan being a White Martian.
  • Guardian being Red Arrow's uncle.
  • Prince Orm being Ocean-Master as revealed in tie-in comic issue #14
  • Conner being the half-human hybrid clone of Superman and Lex Luthor.
  • Starro being the tentacle organism found in Atlantis and being involved in the Light's plot.
  • The fact that Season 2 would start with a time skip.
    • And once an image of Nightwing was leaked, people guessed a more specific number, namely 5.
  • Aqualad quitting The Team and joining Black Manta, and the reason for which being Tula's death.
    • Also The fact that he is working as The Mole.
  • Artemis and Wally have quit heroics for the time being to focus on college.
• One of Us: Greg Weisman's response in Ask Greg column the Pentagram symbols in Misplaced based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
• The Other Darrin:
  • In "Drop Zone", The Brain/L-6 was voiced by Nolan North; in "Alpha Male", he was voiced by Corey Burton.
  • Captain Marvel is voiced by Rob Lowe in "Alpha Male" and "Humanity", he is then voiced by his Real Life younger brother Chad in "Secrets".
• Playing Against Type: Tony Todd, who's best known for playing villains, as the heroic Icon.
• Promoted Fangirl: Maggie Q was a Wonder Woman fan when she was younger.
• Relationship Voice Actor: Yuri Lowenthal-voiced Icicle Jr. fights with the Crispin Freeman-voiced Speedy. Huh... where have we heard these two voice actors as antagonists?
• Talking to Himself:
  • Nolan North voices both Superman, Superboy, and Zatara. The first two are justified since the latter is cloned from the former.
  • Khary Payton voices both Aqualad and Black Manta.
  • Alyson Stoner voices both Bette Kane and Barbara Gordon.
  • Danica McKellar voices both Miss Martian and Marie Logan. Which makes sense in a way since Miss Martin based her looks and mannerisms on the latter.
  • Kevin Michael Richardson voices four heroes: Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern John Stewart, Doctor Fate, and Mal Duncan.
  • Red Arrow and Guardian ( clones of Roy and Jim Harper, respectively) are both voiced by Crispin Freeman. This is played with in the episode "Salvage", where the now-retired Guardian is one of the people who confronts Red Arrow.
• What Could Have Been: Weisman has commented that Wonder Girl was considered for the original team, but for various reasons the character was unavailable till season 2.
• Vocal Evolution: Quite prominently in Jesse McCartney's Nightwing. While his Nightwing voice in the the first four episodes of the second season was deeper than his Robin voice, it still didn't sound like a guy in his late teens (Dick, as Nightwing is about 18–19 years old). His voice deepened slightly in the second season's fifth episode, and this got particularly noticeable in the sixth episode of Invasion.
