Background Information

I started making content for iFixit around the start of October 2021. Initially, I joined as a way to become more experienced in fixing Chromebooks (Specifically Acer's Chromebooks), MacBooks, and other computer hardware. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people you could meet, and have worked with these people in creating the most in-depth guides and Wikis.

Hobbies

Outside of my interests in computers I also enjoy video games like Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 1 and 2, and Assassin's Creed. I have also taken up Mead brewing, which I picked up in early 2020 during our area's lockdown, and have picked up beer brewing more recently (Which you can find some of my writing on here). I have also taken up 3D printing as an additional hobby with the intent to use it in my repair endeavors. I've also had experience with working with Kali Linux and Parrot OS, both subjects I have written about extensively for iFixit.

Favorite Repair Project

Currently one of my favorite repair projects to date was the refurbishment of a 2019 MacBook Pro. I had actually lucked out quite a bit with that one, as the logic board was still good, and the only parts I needed to replace was the battery, and the screen. That project was probably my most challenging since the whole thing took me about 4 hours, and at that point I needed to use the heating pad to soften the adhesive.

Guides/Wikis I have worked on

Since my start in 2021, I have created 4 device teardown guides, 49 guides, assisted in translating 20 guides, and created 182 Admin approved Wikis. All of my guides and wikis can be found in the list below.
