Introduction

Use this guide to replace your Acer C732 Chromebook’s worn-down battery with a new battery. If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions.

Once the new battery is installed you will need to bring the device out of storage mode, once this guide is completed. You will need to plug the device into a charger and a power source, and simply power up the device.

This needs to be done once the battery is replaced as the device will go into a battery disconnected state once the old battery is removed from the device.

    • The battery can now be removed.

    • To install the new battery, follow these steps in reverse order.

Conclusion

The device will be in a battery disconnected state. This means that the device will not simply power on once the battery is reconnected. To bring the device out of storage mode, plug the device into a charger and a power source. You can then power on the device like normal.
