Petrophile stricta is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The upright and spreading shrub typically grows to a height of 0.6 to 1.6 metres (2.0 to 5.2 ft). It blooms between October and December producing cream-pink flowers.

It is found on sandplains, ridges and low hills in the Wheatbelt and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-gravelly soils over laterite.[1]
