List of corticosteroid cyclic ketals

This is a list of corticosteroid cyclic ketals, including cyclic ketals (cyclic acetals) of steroidal glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoids. They are almost all C16α,17α cyclic ketals of corticosteroids. One of the most widely used corticosteroid cyclic ketals is triamcinolone acetonide, which is the C16α,17α acetonide (cyclic ketone with acetone) of triamcinolone.[1]

Comparison of a corticosteroid (bottom) and its cyclic ketal derivative (top).

This list mostly does not include esters of corticosteroid cyclic ketals, which are listed here instead.

Miscellaneous

gollark: hmm, maybe I should migrate the potatOS privacy policy to this.
gollark: A zstandard compressed SQLite DB would be kind of weird honestly. Not seekable.
gollark: Maybe rating, description, genre, word count, sort of thing.
gollark: Add extra fields as necessary.
gollark: ```sqlCREATE TABLE books ( title TEXT NOT NULL, author TEXT NOT NULL, obtained_at TIMESTAMP NOT NULL, last_read_at TIMESTAMP NOT NULL);```
