Edmundson Acres is a census-designated place[3] in Kern County, California.[2] It is located 1.25 miles (2 km) north-northeast of Arvin,[4] at an elevation of 486 feet (148 m).[2] Edmundson Acres' ZIP code is 93203. The population was 279 at the 2010 census.

At the 2010 census Edmundson Acres had a population of 279. The population density was 4,195.6 people per square mile (1,619.9/km2). The racial makeup of Edmundson Acres was 108 (38.7%) White, 5 (1.8%) African American, 3 (1.1%) Native American, 1 (0.4%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 143 (51.3%) from other races, and 19 (6.8%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 225 people (80.6%).[6]

The whole population lived in households, no one lived in non-institutionalized group quarters and no one was institutionalized.

There were 71 households, 32 (45.1%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 35 (49.3%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 13 (18.3%) had a female householder with no husband present, 8 (11.3%) had a male householder with no wife present. There were 4 (5.6%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 0 (0%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. 9 households (12.7%) were one person and 5 (7.0%) had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 3.93. There were 56 families (78.9% of households); the average family size was 4.20.

The age distribution was 89 people (31.9%) under the age of 18, 41 people (14.7%) aged 18 to 24, 69 people (24.7%) aged 25 to 44, 48 people (17.2%) aged 45 to 64, and 32 people (11.5%) who were 65 or older. The median age was 27.5 years. For every 100 females, there were 105.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 115.9 males.

There were 80 housing units at an average density of 1,203.0 per square mile, of the occupied units 42 (59.2%) were owner-occupied and 29 (40.8%) were rented. The homeowner vacancy rate was 2.3%; the rental vacancy rate was 6.3%. 155 people (55.6% of the population) lived in owner-occupied housing units and 124 people (44.4%) lived in rental housing units.
