Tejon, California

Tejon is a former settlement in southern Kern County, California.[1] It is located at Tejon Pass, which connects the Los Angeles Basin with the San Joaquin Valley.

It was located 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Lebec, on the Stockton - Los Angeles Road.[1] This historic road has been replaced by Interstate 5 in California.

A post office operated at Tejon during part of 1895, before the service was transferred to Lebec.[1]
