Reception

Shannon Appelcline notes that the Dungeon Survival Guide was "poorly-received", as it was "pure fluff [...] with no stats at all", noting that Wizards did not want to produce books that would be out of date within a year as they were preparing D&D 4th edition.[1]

gollark: I think in general it's because some triangle *did* it at some point, and then sued. Or they fear that happening.
