Cahangirbəyli

Cahangirbəyli (also, Dzhakhangirbeyli and Dzhakhanghbeyli) is a village in the Zangilan Rayon of Azerbaijan or in the Kashatagh region Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, where it has recently been renamed to Van (Armenian: Վան).

Population

The original Azeri population fled the village during the Nagorno-Karabakh War, after which it was repopulated by ethnic Armenians. The current population of Cahangirbəyli is 129 people, with 32 households. It is mainly engaged in agriculture, cattle-breeding and farming .
