Suspension as Governor

On July 4, 2019, the Supreme Court of the Philippines added a resolution for the 90 days suspension of Cotabato Governor Nancy Catamco under the Section 13 of R.A. 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act while facing three cases in the Sandiganbayan.[4] Supreme Court also implemented the law refers to the suspension of “any incumbent public officer” who is facing charges, which includes Catamco. The suspension is due to the reported anomalous purchased of ₱5 million worth of liquid fertilizer in 2004.[5][6]
