Spruce View

Spruce View is a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada within Red Deer County.[1] It is located on Highway 54, approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Innisfail. Spruce View is also recognized by Statistics Canada as a designated place.[2]

Demographics

As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Spruce View recorded a population of 175 living in 73 of its 84 total private dwellings, a change of 7.4% from its 2011 population of 163. With a land area of 0.69 km2 (0.27 sq mi), it had a population density of 253.6/km2 (656.9/sq mi) in 2016.[2]

As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Spruce View had a population of 163 living in 66 of its 72 total dwellings, a -6.3% change from its 2006 population of 174. With a land area of 0.73 km2 (0.28 sq mi), it had a population density of 223.3/km2 (578/sq mi) in 2011.[3]
