Kulin Brahmin

The nicknames of Bandyopadhyay, Banerjee, Chattopadhyay, Chatterjee, Baral, Boral, Mukhopadhyay, Mukherjee, Deb, Debnath, Bhattacharya, Thakur, Tagore, Aaich, Ghatak, Ganguly, Chakraborty etc. are Kulin Brahmin. Their existence is basically in West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Odisha, Bangladesh.
