Jamua is a village in Jamua CD Block in Khori Mahuwa subdivision of Giridih district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

Police station
Jamua police station has jurisdiction over Jamua CD Block.[1]According to old British records, Jamua PS was there after Giridh subdivision was formed in 1870.[2]

As per the 2011 Census of India Jamua had a total population of 1,124, of which 574 (51%) were males and 550 (49%) were females. Population below 6 years was 213. The total number of literates in Jamua was 677 (74.31% of the population over 6 years). [5]
