Intercontinental Futsal Cup
The Intercontinental Futsal Cup is an international club championship for futsal. This was originally a friendly competition and not a FIFA official trophy. The club champions of Europe and South America play 3 games against each other.
History
The Intercontinental Futsal Cup is held every year. The first event was held in 1997, in Porto Alegre. FIFA doesn't organize the tournament. This tournament was not an official trophy[1][2], before 2004, when, after 2 years of nothing, FIFA revived it.
