Details

In 2012, Bangladesh Railway ordered broad-gauge diesel-electric locomotives from India, modeled as WDM 3A. These locomotives have a power of 3100 hp, the highest for any locomotives in Bangladesh. They are fitted with AAR coupling and have a gear ratio of 65:18.[2] Unlike their Indian counterparts, these locomotives do not have the Dynamic Braking System.

Performance

Class 6500 is used on both freight and passenger trains. Most high-end broad-gauge passenger trains like Padma Express, Banalata Express and Maitree Express are hauled by these locomotives. They are also used on some mail-express and commuter trains.

gollark: No, but stuff like that is still at least fashionable.
gollark: Yes, those are possibly most functional, but people do not actually care (see: high heels).
gollark: Yes, I am pretty sure there is, you could join the nuclearcraft discord and talk to them about reactor design.
gollark: I use TBU Oxide generally, because it comes directly from thorium.
gollark: Well, that's hard to say.
