The 1944 United States presidential election in Michigan took place on November 7, 1944, as part of the 1944 United States presidential election. Voters chose nineteen[1] representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Michigan voted narrowly for Democratic nominee, incumbent Franklin D. Roosevelt over Republican Governor of New York Thomas Dewey, carrying 50.19% of the vote to Dewey's 49.18%.[2][3] The election was close, with Detroit, Flint and most of the Upper Peninsula going to Roosevelt and most of the rest of the state going to Dewey.
