1918 Wyoming gubernatorial election
The Wyoming gubernatorial special election of 1918 took place on November 5, 1918. The incumbent Democratic Governor Frank L. Houx attempted to gain a term in his own right after ascending to the office after John B. Kendrick resigned to run for Senate was defeated by Republican Robert D. Carey with 56.11% of the vote.
