WJPT airs a soft adult contemporary music format, with the branding "Southwest Florida's Soft Hits." On September 25, 2008 the station changed its moniker to "Sunny 106".

Studios and offices are on South Tamiami Trail in Estero, Florida and the transmitter is located off Safety Lane in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.[1] WJPT was originally licensed to broadcast with 3,000 watts but it has since increased its power to 50,000 watts, covering an area between Naples and Punta Gorda.
