Suborno Char Upazila

Suborno Char (সুবর্ণচর) is an upazila or sub-district in Noakhali District, Bangladesh.[1] In 2005, by taking out 7 unions from Noakhali Sadar a new Upazila has been formed with the name Subarnochar upazila.

As of the 2011 Bangladesh census, Subarnochar Upazila has a population of 290000. Males constitute 49.82% of the population, and females 50.18%. Subarnochar has an average literacy rate of 32.7%. It creates a remarkable revolution of education over Bangladesh. This upazila is most probably an upazila in Bangladesh that is developing all the sectors.
