Slovak football clubs in European competitions

Slovak football clubs have participated in European football competitions since 1956. Before 1993 Slovakia was a part of Czechoslovakia, therefore Slovak teams represented this country and did not always have a spot in European competitions.

UEFA coefficient and ranking

For the 2019–20 UEFA competitions, the associations were allocated places according to their 2018 UEFA country coefficients, which take into account their performance in European competitions from 2013–14 to 2017–18. In the 2018 rankings used for the 2019–20 European competitions, Slovakia's coefficient points total is 12.125 and is ranked by UEFA as the 32nd best association in Europe out of 55.
