Paola Chacón

Karla Paola Chacón Fuentes (born April 21, 1992) is a Costa Rican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss International Costa Rica 2017 pageant and represented Costa Rica at the Miss International 2017 in Tokyo, Japan. She also was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2019 and will represent Costa Rica at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant.[1][2]

Personal life

Karla Paola Chacón Fuentes was born at the province of San José, Costa Rica on April 21, 1992, is the daughter of Jorge Chacón and María Fuentes. She is a graduate in Business Administration.

Pageantry

On 4 September 2015, Chacón began her pageantry career representing Costa Rica at the Top Model of the World 2015 in Egypt where she placed Top 15 where the eventual winner was Elena Kosmina of Ukraine. Chacón also represented Costa Rica was crowned as the new Miss Tourism Intercontinental 2015. Chacón competed at Miss Supranational 2016 on December 2, 2016 in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland but she did not placed where Srinidhi Shetty of India won. Chacón also was crowned Miss International Costa Rica 2017 in San José wherein she succeeded Raquel Guevara. On November 14, 2017, Chacón represented Costa Rica at the Miss International 2017 in Tokyo, Japan but unplaced where she was eventually winner Kevin Liliana of Indonesia. On July 19, 2019, Chacón represented San José was crowned as Miss Costa Rica 2019 pageant wherein she succeeded Miss Costa Rica 2018 Natalia Carvajal. As the official representative of her country to the 2019 Miss Universe pageant.[3][4][5]
