The final took place on 14 February 2002 at the Palace of Sports and Culture in Vilnius. The winner was determined by the combination of votes from a jury panel (50%), public televoting (25%) and the audience in the hall (25%). Only the top 10 placings (and some of the corresponding points) were announced.
