Three semi-finals were aired and the top three from each semi-final advanced to the final. The results of the semi-finals were determined by a 50/50 combination of votes from a jury panel and public televoting. LRT also selected three wildcard acts for the final out of the remaining non-qualifying acts from the semi-finals. An additional wildcard act was selected from an online wildcard round which took place at the website zebra.lt. The winning song in the final was selected over two rounds of voting: the first round results were determined by the 50/50 combination from a jury panel and public televoting, while the second round (superfinal) was determined solely by the jury panel.[5]
Competing entries
LRT received a total of 70 submissions, and 44 of them were chosen to compete at the selection.
