Kaduna South

Kaduna South is a Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Its headquarters in the town of Makera. Other wards are Barnawa , Tudun wada ,Television , Kakuri , Unguwar Muazu , Kabala West , Sabon Gari , Badikko , Unguwar Sanusi and Kurmin Mashi .

It has an area of 59 km² and a population of 402,390 at the 2006 census.

The area has a mixed population, but the dominant ethnic groups are the Hausa, Gbagyi,Chip, Bajju, Ham, Atyap , Igbo and Yoruba . The major religions are Islam and Christianity. The State has 23 local government. Kaduna state is located in the North-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria. And it also being one of the Zazzau Emirate district,
