documenta III

documenta III was the third edition of documenta, a quinquennial contemporary art exhibition. It was held between 27 June and 5 October 1964 in Kassel, Germany. The artistic director was Arnold Bode in collaboration with Werner Haftmann. The title of the exhibition was: Internationale Ausstellung – international exhibition.[1]

gollark: It seems to be transparent if I *play* it, just not as the thumbnail.
gollark: I managed to compress it even better, but it still has a white background.
gollark: It has a white background because... of the video codec, I suppose? I remember that some codec supports alpha channels so I can encode it differently.
gollark: It's an mp4 because lossy video codecs are better than gifs for, er, videos.
gollark: Well, that's weird. It plays fine in `ffplay`, but not the browser.
