Details
It was launched in June 2020.[1] Cooper Lake features up to 28 cores and supports Intel Optane persistent memory. Cooper Lake supports DDR4-3200 memory, and higher AI inference and training performance compared to the standard Intel Xeon Platinum 8200 platforms. Cooper Lake is the first x86 processor to have built-in AI training acceleration through new bfloat16 support added to Intel Deep Learning Boost (Intel DL Boost).
