Baone

Baone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southwest of Venice and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,133 and an area of 24.4 square kilometres (9.4 sq mi).[3]

Baone borders the following municipalities: Arquà Petrarca, Cinto Euganeo, Este, Galzignano Terme, Lozzo Atestino, Monselice. The municipality of Baone has three frazioni (outlying administrative divisions), in addition to the town of Baone itself: Calaone, Rivadolmo and Valle San Giorgio.
