The song was the first to be composed for the film, and its composers sought inspiration from "Rock-a-bye Baby" and Norwegian lullabies.[4] It was written before Wood was cast.[5]
The Los Angeles Times deemed it the fourth best song from the film.[6]
International versions
On its theater release, the movie numbered 47 dubbings worldwide, with the song All is Found counting 46 versions overall: Prisca Demarez's recording of the song was used in both French versions released in Europe and Canada, although the rest of the dubbings were independent. Among the dubbings released, a version in Tamil, Telugu and Northern Sami was recorded for the sequel, even though the first movie has never been dubbed into these languages.[7] As it happened in Moana with a Tahitian,[8] Māori[9] and Hawaiian version,[10] the Sami version was an exceptional dubbing made specifically for the movie, given the inspiration it took from Sami culture.[11][12]
Norwegian-Swedish composer Christine Hals, who voiced Iduna in the Norwegian version, had previously taken part in Frozen, writing the lyrics in Old Norse for the song "Heimr Àrnadalr" and performing kulning for Beck to use it in his score.[13][14] Spanish actress Isabel Valls performed both the Catalan and European Spanish versions, while Indian singer Sunitha Sarathy voiced Iduna in Tamil and Telugu.[7]
