• Mike Kiss, the voice of Mister Smarty Smarts also has written several episodes of Spliced.

• The original name of Spliced was The Leftovers of Dr. Moreau.

• Hey, It's That Voice!: Patricia is Fin, Fuzzy Snuggums is Runo, Two Legs Joe is Lorne, The friend for life (and Harold) and Wingus Eternum is Mason Eckhart
  • Plus guest starring Poe, Wyatt, Lance Boil, Owen, Samy, Artemis, Carl the evil cockroach wizard, Brad Best, Dr. Aki, Rock Zilla, the animated Beetlejuice, the animated Falkor the Luckdragon and George Stroumboulopoulos.
  • Not to mention that Entree is Nugget from Testees. According to Simon Racioppa, the fact Entree's favorite nipple was also named Nugget was an amazing coincidence.
• Screwed by the Network: On Qubo, the only channel in the US that airs this show, comes up at around 4pm-5pm after it was thrown off the channel for a year in its first six weeks of broadcasting.
  • Eventually the screwing was somewhat undone by putting the show Qubo's more appropriate "Night Owl" block along with He Man and The Masters of The Universe and friends.
  • Adored by the Network: Teletoon, a Candian cartoon channel, airs at LEAST three episodes a day on the weekdays (four episodes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays), all at available times.
    • Which is really quite odd for a show with only 26 half-hours.
  • A tweet to co-creator Simon Racioppa found that not even he knows if the series is done after one season or not.
