- L'Hiver est La!
- Marvin, I love you! Marvin, I love you! Remember, I'm programmed for yoooou! Oh my god, I think Marvin's woobie-ness just shot through the roof...
- Marvin, Metal Man, as well. For some reason, the quietness and lack of any actual melody just makes it more catchy.
- Bruno Mars, anyone?
- When I see your face there's not a thing that I would change, 'cause you're amazing just the way you are...
- "I'd catch a grenade for you... (yeah, yeah)"

- Ricky Martin:
- "The Cup of Life": "HERE WE GO! ALLEZ-ALLEZ-ALLEZ! GO GO GO! ALLEZ-ALLEZ-ALLEZ!"
- "Upside, inside-out! She's livin' la vida loca!" Apparently, that song being an ear worm is why Rolling Stone considered it annoying.
- Not when Antonio Banderas is singing it. Still catchy, though.

- Metro Station:
- "Control": "I'm coming down, bring me up, take it off, let's just touch...I'M COMING DOWN, BRING ME UP..."
- Shake It also qualifies.
- Shake shake, shake shake-ah-shake it! It loops in my head over, and over, and over, and over again...
- And I'd swim the ocean for you/Ocean for you/WHOAOAOAOA OH KELSEY
- The Mighty Mighty Bosstones gave us "The Impression that I Get.", an ear worm which, for me, is triggered BY other Ear Worms.
- The last hurrah, nah! I'd do it again! The Rascal King behind the bars or the one in front of them...
- Malice Mizer, believe it or not, has turned out a few of these. Illuminati comes to mind. (I'm linking to an amv because the PV for it is Nightmare Fuel.) Just try to get that carnival-style organ bit out of your head.
- I once looked at the top played list on my iPod and was actually surprised that Illuminati occupied the top slot. I was not surprised, however, that Beast of Blood (the first song anyone ever hears by them anymore) occupied the second place slot.
- "Heaven Knows" by Nana Mizuki. "(Heaven knoooowwws) itsuka negai (Heaven knoooooows) kanau youni inoru kantan na koto janai itsumo soredemo."

- "Oh, Mandy, oh, you came and you gave without taking, and I sent you away! Oh, Mandy, oh, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today..."
- Parts of "Looks Like We Made It" were stuck in my head off and on from when I was around 5 until I found out who wrote it. in 9th grade.
- "Copacabana"
- Maximum the Hormone:
- If you have heard Paul McCartney's hits when they were hits, they may sneak back into your brain every so often.
"Ooh, baby, you couldn't have done a worse thing to me
If you had taken an arrow and drove it right through me
Oooooh..."
- "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" is a more classic McCartney example: "Haaaaands/ Across the water! (water) / Heeeeeads / Across the sky!"

- Tim McGraw offers a very catchy chorus in two of his songs:
- "Last Dollar (Fly Away)": "One, two, three, like a bird I sing / 'Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings..." It helps that the song starts out cold with the chorus.
- "Felt Good on My Lips": "Ooh ooh ooh ah, wanna go crazy / You can go crazy too". Who says arena-rock choruses don't work in country music?
- Pick any Meat Loaf song:
- For example: LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL I'LL BE GONE WHEN THE MORNING CALLS!.
- Anything by Steinman. Bonus points since these songs cannot be sung softly. I was once howling "IIIIII WANT MY MONEY BACK! Life is a lemon" while walking down the street.
- Let me sleep on it, baby baby let me sleep on it!
- Several songs from Hang Cool Teddy Bear. Running Away From Me has one of the catchiest choruses on that album.
- Megadeth:
- "Peace Sells". I finished up a Rock Band session with my friends, and discovered that the whole group still had the opening bassline stuck in their heads. "Dun-dundun dun dun dun dun dundun..."
- It might not be their best effort but the damn song sticks deep into your head giving you Insomnia-nia-nia-nia-nia.
- "Just like the Pied Piper, led rats through the streets, we dance like marionettes, swaying to the Symphony...of Destruction!"

- BOW DOWN TO THE PHANTOM LLLLOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRDDD!!!
- Anywhere I roam, where I lay my head is home...
- FRANTIC TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK...
- The Low Man's Lyric. Depressing? Makes you suspect Hetfield needs a shrink? Yup. One sings it in on rainy nights anyway.

- Not
- That song wasn't as safe as they said it was...
- Metro Station: Now if she does it like this, will you do it like that?/Now if she touches like this, will you touch her right back?/Now if she moves like this, will you move her like that?/Come on, shake shake, shake shake, a-shake it!

- Joni Mitchell:
- The Circle Game
- Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi". Pick any recording of it (it's a popular cover song). The first episode of the TV show Now and Again used samples of the chorus as background music in pivotal scenes ("don't know what you got til it's gone"), which is part of the reason the show has managed to stick in the minds of fans, years later.

- Little Lion Man, The Cave, and Winter Winds by Mumford and Sons. At least it's Crowning Music of Awesome.
- King of Spain by Moxy Fruvous. Remember that slower pizza's more luscious, 'cause the King of Spain never rushes!
- I occasionally hum a tune or barely-contextually belt out a line of one of their songs, to the chagrin of friends who have no interest in fantastic obscure Canadian folkapella. Some of their lines are beautiful instead of funny, though, such as Horseshoes:
My sister Sue, and me were doing stunts with electric trains
She said she'd do my dishes so I handed her the reigns (handed her the reigns)
And she engineered a collision steered by a hand-eye protege
As my train set started burning, I heard my sister say:
Look straight at the coming disaster
- Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
- Queen of the Night, from Mozart's The Magic Flute. Making it much worse is that you don't possibly have a hope of singing along unless you're an absurdly high-voiced soprano or sucking helium, yet you'll want to.
- The Misfits were quite good at making you sing horrifying lyrics over and over again.
- Ever hear Skulls? go ahead and click, if you want to sing about chopping little girls head's off all day...
- HATEBREEDERS WHOOAAAHOOOO!
- Well, I got somethin to say/I killed a baby today/And it doesn't matter much to me/as long as it's dead.
- With just a touch of my burning hand, send my Astro Zombies to rape the land! Prime directive: EXTERMINATE THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE!
- The Cha-Cha Slide by Mr. C The Slide Man. Try and fail not to do the dance along with the music!
- Jason Mraz:
- If you gots the poison, I gots the remedy...
- "But I won't he-si-tate no more, no more, it can-not wait, I'm yours..."
- Münchener Freiheit (those guys who did the incredibly catchy Keeping The Dream Alive) tend to turn out songs which are earworms, even to those (such as me) who don't understand a word of German. Nearly all the songs on Fantasie/Fantasy and Definitive Collection are earworms, including their cover of Bob Dylan's Baby Blue (in German).
- I had the chorus stuck in my head for six years. It did not help not knowing the language it was in. Listened to it three times in a row when I finally learnt its name. Still have it stuck, but know at least I can sing along.
- Mungo Jerry: "In the summertime when the weather is hot, you can chase right up and touch the sky..." An example of an awesome Ear Worm.
- My Chemical Romance:
- Blood. That is all. (I once found myself teaching it to my entire summer camp after singing it one too many times in public. * twitchy twitch* )
- ...Give them blood, blood, gallons of the stuff, give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough, so give them blood, blood, blllooooooOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHDDDDDD... *gasp*...I'M THE KINDA HUMAN WRECKAGE THATCHA LOVE!
- Anyone who's played Guitar Hero 2 will agree with me that Dead is an even bigger ear worm, and those that have played Burnout 3 will say I'm Not Okay (I Promise) is even bigger than that.

- I wonder if it is possible to listen to Shikenkan Baby, Itoshii Hito, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, Jibun Kakumei, or Papamama Nozomare nu Baby by Miyavi without singing or humming them later. All of the above will either cause you to start frantically reciting choruses over and over or loudly singing deceptively victorious-sounding tunes as you walk down the street.
- Massive Attack, especially the music riffs for 'Angel' and 'Teardrop'.
- MONKEEY VER-SUS ROOOBOT. Very, very hard to stop singing this out loud.
- Matt and Kim's "Daylight" can be brought on my random mentioning of the band's name and will stick around for days, during which point frequent bouts of smiling are common, until it causes death. Yes, that's right, indie pop shall be the death of you.
- Also, there's "Cameras"
- Lapfox Trax: Three words: DUM DUM DIDAY.
- Pretty much everything under Mayhem is this. You're getting at least one song digitally engraved into you brain. Guaranteed!

- I was thinkin' 'bout her, thinkin' 'bout me, thinkin' 'bout us, what we're gonna be? Open my eyes... IT WAS ONLY JUST A DREAM!!!
- "99 Luftballons" by Nena
- Possibly made even more infectious by putting Goldfinger's English cover of it on the soundtrack to the North American version of Gran Turismo 3.
- I fell in love with the song when I first heard it on the Rocket Power tv movie "Race Across New Zealand." Then I found the original and I'm the only one of my friends who know it. I can still sing nearly the whole thing, word for word, because it's ALWAYS STUCK in my head.
- I haven't listened to the song in at least a year, yet I can still remember all the lyrics. In German. Which I don't speak. And wouldn't know how to write properly. That's impressive. Luckily there are enough other ear worms eating my brain that it isn't terribly intrusive.
- I just can't stop listening to every single version of that song that's out there!
- I listen to the Japanese version ALL THE TIME!
- There's even a Harry Potter parody (in English).
- Possibly made even more infectious by putting Goldfinger's English cover of it on the soundtrack to the North American version of Gran Turismo 3.

- For that matter, any nightcored (vocal song), ranging from 'No Cover Song' , 'My Girl' , etc. to 'G-Get Up And Dance'.
- Nightwish mostly just goes for completely over-the-top Epic Rocking, but a few of their songs still manage to worm their way into your head and not let go:
- "How blind can you be/ don't you see/ you chose the long road/ but we'll be waiting. BYE, BYE, BEAUTIFUL!"
- The chorus to Erämaan Viimeinen. Most Nightwish fans know it by its instrumental name, Last of the Wilds, however it originally had lyrics. In Finnish. As soon as you learn the words, it will not leave your head. For hours.

- It's even worse if you have the "Dance, fuckers, dance" line stuck in your head, because then you can't sing it aloud without getting funny looks.
- This is one of the few songs where the radio edit actually works. Sing it right and it remains nicely rhythmic and doesn't sound like anything's missing.
- It's even worse if you have the "Dance, fuckers, dance" line stuck in your head, because then you can't sing it aloud without getting funny looks.

- OutKast:
- "Mrs. Jackson" will plague you with its chorus, the catchiest part of the song and coincidentally the only part that sticks in your head. Although sometimes instead it may just be a loop of "Forever... Forever ever? Forever ever?" lodged in your brain, well, forever.

- Shake it like a corduroy ninja! (I witnessed the birth of that mondegreen.)
- "Ain't no thang like a chicken wang"

- "All I know is that I don't know, all I know is that I don't know NOTHING!"
- "More, than just another crowd!"
- Owl City:
- "Fireflies": "YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES, IF TEN MILLION FIREFLIES..."
- "CUZ I'D GET A THOUSAND HUUUGS FROM TEN THOUSAND LIGHTNING BUUUGS..."
