Skopje Fest 2008

Skopje Fest 2008 was a song contest organized by MRT that served as Macedonia's national final to select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.

Competing entries

A submission period for interested artists and composers to submit their entries was opened on late 2007. MRT received 130 submissions at the close of the deadline. An expert committee consisting of officials and past Eurovision contestants selected fifteen artists and songs for the competition from the received submissions. In addition to the received submissions, MRT also invited well-known composers to directly commission six songs for the competition but were all withdrawn before the final.[2]
