Eurolaul 2008 was the fifteenth edition of the Estonian national selection Eurolaul, which selected Estonia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. The competition consisted of ten entries competing in a final on 2 February 2008.
Competing entries
On 17 September 2007, ETV opened the submission period for artists and composers to submit their entries up until 26 November 2007. 58 submissions were received by the deadline. An 11-member jury panel selected 5 finalists from the submissions. The selection jury consisted of Toomas Puna, Alari Kivisaar, Allan Roosileht, Andres Panksep, Ahto Kruusmann, Raul Saaremets, Olev Ehrlich, Ivan Makarov, Owe Petersell, Koit Raudsepp and Sven Lõhmus.[1] In addition to the public submissions, ETV directly invited 6 composers to submit entries, one of whom withdrew. The composers both created the song and selected the performer for their entry. The 10 songs were announced during the ETV program Kes pääses finaali? on 1 December 2007.[2]
