Jade Simmons

Jade Simmons, is an American classical concert pianist, art presenter and art entrepreneur.[1][2][3] author,[4][5][6] The Washington Post reviewed her performance and said she is "a clear, powerful pianist with a magnetic personality... worth seeing any time."[7] Simmons was crowned Miss Chicago and Miss Illinois in 1999 and was named first runner-up at the Miss America 2000 pageant.[2] She is an independent candidate for President in 2020.[8][9]

Career

In 2004, Simmons founded the Impulse Artists Series which was the 2009 winner of the Houston Press Best Non-Profit Arts Series.[6][10] In 2011, Simmons published the eBook Emerge Already!: The Ultimate Guide to Career Building for Emerging Artists,[4] titled after her Emerge Already! project of the same name.[1] Simmons' first album was titled Revolutionary Rhythm, and was released in 2009. She released the single "Boss's Nova" in September 2012,[11] and the Playing With Fire EP[12] followed by a second full release on E1, entitled #PaganiniProject in February 2013.[13]

On February 28, 2020, Simmons launched an independent presidential campaign.[9]
