Alliance Party (United States)

The Alliance Party is an American political party that was formed in 2018 via the merger of the American Moderates Party, the American Party of South Carolina, and the Modern Whig Party. The Modern Whig Party had itself been a merger of the American Centrist Party, the American Moderate Party of California, the Center Party, the National Centrist Party, the Veterans Party, and the USA Party. In 2019, they also folded in the American Alliance Party and the Independence Party of Minnesota. 2020 brought in the Independent Party of Connecticut,[2] and reportedly the Reform Party of Florida.[3][4] The party is registered with the Federal Election Commission as a political action committee with a non-contribution account.[1]
