Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007
Bosnia and Herzegovina entered the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with Marija Šestić performing "Rijeka bez imena" (River without a name). The song was written and composed by Aleksandra Milutinović and Goran Kovačić.

Marija Šestić was born on 5 May 1987 in Banja Luka. She has had a very impressive career, despite her young age. Most notably, she has achieved top results in domestic festivals and also had the chance to be the first artist from the former Yugoslavia to appear on MTV Europe. Marija attempted to reach Eurovision in 2005 with the song "In This World", finishing in a respectable fourth place at the national final.

Internal selection
Around 30 songs submitted to BHRT. On 3 March 2007, Marija Šestić was announced as the Bosnian entrant at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Rijeka bez imena".[1]
The English version of this song is entitled "Never Wake Me Up". The Bosnian motto for the 2007 contest was Sound of Rivers.[2]
At Eurovision
Bosnia & Herzegovina automatically qualified to the grand final, because it was on the top 10 last year. Marija Šestić opened the final in Helsinki on 12 May, finished 11th with 106 points.
