2016 Garden Grove, California mayoral election

The 2016 Garden Grove, California mayoral election was held on November 8, 2016 to elect the mayor of Garden Grove, California. Republican[2] city councilman Steve Jones was elected to replace retiring mayor Bao Nguyen, a Democrat, who retired to run for California's 46th congressional district. Jones won 98.8% of the vote against his lone opponent, write-in candidate Tony Flores.[1]
