The plot revolves around the stories of Lord Ganesha, his mother Goddess Adi Parashakti (as Mahakali, Durga, Tripura Sundari and Parvati), his father Lord Shiva and his brother Lord Kartikeya. Most of the stories are narrated to Ganesha by other characters or by Ganesha himself.

Plot

The present tales of Lord Ganesha and his family. Ganesha is born to Goddess Parvati as 'Vinayak', but when he stands as an obstacle in the path of his quick-to-temper father, Lord Shiva, he is beheaded. On the insistence of Parvati, he is resurrected with an elephant's head and is renamed as "Vighnaharta" (Remover of obstacles) "Ganesh" (Leader of All Troops). The show includes stories of Ganesh's many incarnations and of other deities from the Hindu pantheon, including (but not limited to) the Mahavidyas, the Navadurgas, incarnations of Lord Shiva, Lord Kartikeya, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Brahma and Goddess Saraswati.

gollark: Older versions did *not* do this that much.
gollark: The server I've got up has 3.5GB of RAM allocated to it (the actual dedicated box it on has 4... planning to upgrade eventually), and constantly just spends 30% of CPU whenever anyone's on, probably garbage collecting.
gollark: Also RAM use.
gollark: Every update the performance gets worse and worse.
gollark: Dual meteors and a redwood forest and a village for some reason.
