Syedpur, Jagannathpur
Syedpur (Bengali: সৈয়দপুর), is a village in Jagannathpur Upazila, Sunamganj District.[1] It is named after Syed Shamsuddin, a disciple of Shah Jalal who arrived here in the 14th century. The village was renamed from Krishnapur to Syedpur in his honour.
