The college offers a range of courses for students graduating from local schools in the surrounding area. These courses include GCSEs, A Levels and BTECs.
In 2010, a group of 20 students were charged with murder after the stabbing death of 15-year-old Sofyen Belamouadden. This was the UK’s biggest ever joint prosecution of a gang for a killing. Eight students were convicted.[3] The case was featured on an episode of the UK television program Click for Murder.[4]
